Warriors of Worship (Band Ministry)

The Word tells us: they that worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. Here at Agapé, our band is called the Warriors of Worship, because if we had to choose one thing that we are known by – it has to be that we are true worshipers. The emphasis of “WoW” is worship, unity, servitude, excellence, faithfulness and humility, with Agapé love undergirding it all.

Our range/repertoire is best described by "eclectic" – we play contemporary Christian music including Kirk Franklin, Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin, HillSong, Israel Houghton, JJ Hairston, Jonathan Nelson etc., as well as traditional hymnals and gospel and our own brand of jazz. Being a spirit-led band in a spirit-led house, we are quite prone to break out in extemperaneous worship! Our instruments include:

• Percussions – piano/keyboard/organ, drum kit, latin percussions
• Strings – bass, acoustic/electric guitar, erhu
• Brass and wind instruments – trumpets, flugelhorn, alto/baritone/tenor saxophone
